Sometimes, I liken my infatuations and romanticization of the other as how one imagines shapes looking at a cloudless sky. If you stare at nothing for long enough, eventually you will find something. I realized recently that that’s probably where most of my grade-school infatuations came from.

But then, every once in a while, a real cloud will float by. Sometimes this cloud will be shaped like the most beautiful thing you’ve ever seen in your life.
